How Do We Restore Fixtures?
We restore them by first removing the old caulk, surface contaminants, and fixtures. Next, we thoroughly clean and prep the surface, then repair any chips, cracks, holes, missing grout, burn marks, and even extreme rust damage. Finally, we cover all vulnerable areas that could be damaged by paint over-spray, such as flooring, toilets, kitchen countertops, and mirrors. We also run a very powerful exhaust blower or window fan to exhaust any over-spray and fumes. After we thoroughly clean the work area, we replace all metal fixtures and re-caulk before we leave.

What We Don't Do:
When we first started out, we did everything we could, from replacing water-damaged drywall to fixing leaks. Now, we are unable to do the following jobs (unless we are already at the restoration job site):
• Kitchen Sinks (You Will Get Chips)
• Toilets (There Are 1-Flush, Low-Flow Toilets out There)
• Hot Tubs (Fixtures That Are Subject to Constant Heat & Submersion)
• Vanity Sinks (Replacement Is a Better Alternative,
Unless It's an Integral)
• Cabinets (Not Cost Effective) |
